Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease or line your baking sheet.
Unroll one package of crescent dough and leave two triangles together to create 4 large rectangles.* Pinch the seams together tightly and then smooth with your finger to get rid of the line.
Spoon about 1 Tbs of cherries on the left and right side of the rectangle, leaving a space in the middle for the cream cheese. You want more cherries than 'goo' here so that it doesn't ooze out the sides while baking. Add about 1 Tbs of cream cheese between the cherries.
Cover with the second rectangle of dough and seal the edges with a fork.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm!
