French vanilla Kahlua flavored coffee and salted caramel create the perfect base for this kahlua salted caramel frappe!
In my humble opinion if you’re blogging “right” you’re making some amazing friends along the way. So on those days when my stats aren’t where I want them to be or no one is following me on Pinterest or no one liked my super witty status on Facebook I remind myself that in the end I’m doing something right because I’ve surrounded myself with some amazing women in the blogging community. These women lift me up when I fall, encourage me when I’m so stressed out about algorithms or analytics I want to tear my hair out, and push me to be my best. So when we all get together and combine a fun group project with a mandatory trip to Target. I am so there.
Enter fifty a couple trips to Target or three pawing through their One Spot goodies and buying several items that I will not being using in this post and you end up with coffee and booze. Sort of. My Target has an amazing and organized One Spot section with lots of different items. Anything from toys to snacks to simple and sweet organizational items our One Spot is teeming with awesomeness. This is starting to sound like an ad…moving on. So when I spotted these adorable baby bags of Kahlua coffee for only a dollar I made a beeline for them and immediately started making a mental list of all the things I could make with coffee that tastes like booze!
I’ll be the first to admit that I do not drink coffee. I don’t even like coffee. So I did not taste these myself. But when the family made nothing but mmmmmm sounds while drinking I’m going to say that I knocked it out of the park. I used this recipe for Kahlua Salted Caramel from my friend Nicole at Little Blog on the Homestead. It got mixed in and drizzled on top and was probably one of the main reasons for all those noises of deliciousity and head nodding.
Since you’ll have to freeze the coffee into cubes I suggest brewing it the night before and then blending it all together the next day before work or school or baby yoga. This recipe serves two so either be a rockstar {albeit a jumpy one} and drink the whole thing or share it with your favorite coffee drinker.
What is your favorite way to drink coffee?

This sounds so delicious! You should try cold brewing the coffee, it's how Starbucks and other coffee houses make cold coffee drinks that are strong and less acidic → http://brendid.com/cold-brewed-coffee/ . Can't wait to try the recipe.
