Bring these delicious and easy Oreo truffles to your next holiday cocktail party or special occasion and impress all your friends!
Last year for my birthday one of my good friends made me some Oreo truffles. They weren’t very pretty {she admitted this, not me!} but they were verrrrrry delicious. So delicious I hid them under the veggies in our vegetable drawer so no one else would eat them. That one sentence says so many things about our family… Anyway, when I tasted her delicious and adorably malformed truffles I knew I wanted to make my own!
Right? These babies have only 3 ingredients and they’re not as time consuming as you might think. But as soon as your friends hear the word ‘truffle’ they will be super impressed. My friend Erin from No Bohn’s About It makes these truffles probably once a month! Whenever she has friends over she whips up a batch of these and often jokes that it’s the only recipe she can make without messing it up! So if you’re like Erin then you’ll love these too! I originally made these for a holiday blog hop but they absolutely work for pretty much anything where you might need to bring or serve a finger food dessert!
Next time I make these I’m going to use mint Oreo’s and white chocolate. Ohhhhhhh I bet they’d be good if you used regular Oreo’s and chocolate flavored with Raspberry. Or orange. Or blueberry. Or pretty much any flavor you can possibly thing of to pair with chocolate. YUM! I should just prep my friends now for the barrage of oreo truffle goodness that’s about to come their way!
Enjoy! Maybe hide them in your veggie drawer so your family doesn’t find them 😉
