This soft base cookie recipe is perfect for adding whatever candies or mixins you like to make a unique custom cookie each time you whip up a batch!

  • 1 stick butter, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup candy or mixins of your choice
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and in a medium bowl beat together melted butter and sugars until well combined. Add in vanilla and egg and mix well.

  2. To the same bowl add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until completely combined. This dough is a little wet but that aids in the soft factor!

  3. Fold in the candy or other mixins of your choice.

  4. Scoop dough in 1" balls and bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes. You want them to be slightly underdone so they stay soft and they'll keep cooking a little bit after you take them out of the oven. Do not over bake!

  5. Allow to cool completely before packaging.
