There’s nothing worse than not knowing how to entertain an impromptu guest. Consider your problem solved with these simple last minute RITZ Cracker appetizers!
It is not a secret around here that I am passionate about two things: showing my love with food and quick but delicious recipes. So when you decide to come over to my house please be prepared for a rousing game of 20 questions so I can quiz you on your favorite foods before you arrive.
And if you show up last minute! Oh lord, then I’ll make at least 3 different things just so I can hopefully hit on something you’ll rave about. I don’t like to send people home with empty bellies. Like that time I had exactly 4 people come over for our housewarming party and I made four different dishes.
Because, why not have one for each person or each taste or just because I like small bite sized food?!
So, when RITZ Crackers asked me to partner with them to bring you some easy, last minute recipes I said, “yes, please!” Because I don’t remember a single day of my childhood that didn’t include a box of buttery RITZ crackers in the pantry. They’re one of my favorite crackers for snacking and entertaining!
S’mores Bites
We’ll start with the sweet stuff because, um, hello. It’s me. These s’mores bites are ready in about 8 minutes if you time yourself. Not that I would know what that’s like or anything. I used Hershey’s kisses because they’re simple but you could also use a Hershey’s bar if you have those on hand.

RITZ S'mores Bites
Ingredients
- 36 RITZ Crackers
- 18 Hershey Kisses,, unwrapped
- 9 large marshmallows,, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lay your crackers out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Top half the crackers with the Hershey Kisses and half the crackers with a marshmallow half.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes or until marshmallows are lightly browned and chocolate is slightly melted, being careful not to burn marshmallows.
- Sandwich the two halves together and serve warm.
