Cherry Strawberry Daquiri is a sweet frozen cocktail perfect for a summer’s night of fun!
One of my favorite things about summers are all the fun, sweet, summery cocktails out there. It doesn’t matter if I’m sitting on the beach, or sitting on my couch, if I’ve got a cold cocktail on a warm summer night, I feel like I’m on vacation. Of all the cocktails in existence, frozen daiquiris are definitely at the top of my favorite’s list for two main reasons, 1.) They are delicious and 2.) You really can’t mess the recipe up. Just combine all the goodies in a blender and you are good to go!
Cherry Strawberry Daiquiris are a fun, slightly sweeter take on the regular old Strawberry Daiquiri. With the simple addition of cherries, you’ve got a whole new flavor on your hands. I asked my favorite food critic (disclosure: it was my husband) his thoughts on my cherry strawberry daiquiri recipe and he had the following things to say:
“Wonderful for a hot summer evening!”
“The perfect beverage for a ladies’ night!”
“How about another?”
I’d say this simple summer cocktail recipe is definitely a hit in our house (disclosure: most cocktails are a hit in our house).
One thing I really love is that I can easily make this recipe for myself in my ninja single serving blender cup, or I can easily double, triple, or even quadruple it in a regular blender if I’m planning a really wild night. I happened to have a few nippers left over from a “Fun Friday” at work, but if you are going from the big bottle of white rum, about one shot or one and a half ounces per serving will do the trick. I started with already frozen fruit since I wanted my beverage ASAP, but if you have time feel free to use fresh fruit, pit the cherries, and then freeze overnight.
Thanks to Meaghan for letting me hang out with all you awesome folks today! Check out the rest of the cocktails in the summer cocktail series!

I remember pre-alcohol age, I would watch all the adults drinking these things and swear I was going to drink them all the time when I turned 21. I need to fulfill my promise to myself, lol!

Strawberry Daiquiri is always part of our summers ritual, given that we grow masses of strawberries it would be rude not too, never added cherries though and love the sound of it... Given we have 3 cherry trees I reckon I can spare some :D

This is such a beautiful drink! I love the color, and the fact that it's got two different flavors for something unique.

It IS just a smoothie with booze. What a fantastic way to look at it. Does that make it healthy!?
