Share a Coke with your family this summer by sending them a care package filled with all the fixins they’ll need for a Coke Float Sundae! Then you can celebrate summer even from afar with Coke!

It’s been exactly two months now.  Two months and two weeks since I looked at my mom and told her I was moving to Michigan with whatever I could cram into my tiny car.  Two months since I heard my baby brother’s voice.  65 days since I last hugged my little sister.  And when I think about it too much I miss them.  More than I ever really admitted to myself I would.

I’ve FaceTimed with my sister a couple times and text my mom and brother occasionally but I actually miss seeing them every day.  And that hits me hardest when I think about the fact that I now live so far away from my family that I won’t be able to afford to go home again until my brother graduates from high school in May of 2016.  It’s a long 2 day drive which is a hard trip to make without a car and plane tickets are expensive.  Oh, also.  I’m a smidge afraid of flying.

But I can still share the love with a care package.  And when I got the idea to send them a little love bomb in the mail filled with Coke and other baked goodies I knew I HAD to do it.  So I searched and searched and eventually found their names on these bottles of Coke and Diet Coke right in those little mini fridges by the checkout lanes.  So not only do they get the surprise of a homemade goodie in the mail they also get a Coke to share with their name on it.  Somehow I think that makes the gift just a little bit extra special.

Plus I’m sending them all the fixin’s to make these delicious Coke Float Sundaes.  Except the ice cream.  I don’t think ice cream would make it in the mail from Michigan to Virginia.  So once it arrives they’ll be able to pop the box open, head to Walmart for some ice cream {and whipped cream if they’re smart}, and enjoy these delicious Coke Float Sundaes!  Because sprinkles and whipped cream make everything better.  I made sure to tell them to also invest in some of those old fashioned ice cream sundae glasses (aff) and striped straws (aff).  I can’t get over how ridiculously cute they are.

Just putting this package together helped me feel closer to my family.  Especially because my sister has been casually texting me care package food ideas since I moved in April.  So I know she’ll be excited to see this on the front porch.  I’m already anticipating some excitedly texted pics from her as they unwrap their surprise!
