Today we’re tackling easy teacher or neighbor gifts.  When I was teaching I got everything from mugs to stuffed animals to chocolate {gotta love those genius parents}, and even a gift card or two from my students around the holidays.  It was so sweet to be blessed by students {and their parents} as a thank you for teaching their child!  I’m sure most teachers would agree that watching that child grow is gift enough…but the chocolate doesn’t hurt 😉

If you’re anything like me you want to give gifts to everyone you can think of!  Sometimes it’s hard to be creative keep the budget under control when you want to give a present to both your child’s teachers, the neighbor who stops by to feed your cat when you’re out of town, the ladies in your book club, and your Aunt’s third cousin’s husband’s best friend’s daughter, on your mother’s side.  So I went on the hunt for something cute and festive that wouldn’t break the bank.  What’s more thrifty than less than $5 per person?  It’s a pretty good deal for such a cute and functional gift, too!

Do you see how easy this is?!  I picked up everything at the Dollar Store!  Except for the peanut butter cookie mix which I got from Target.  It was still less than $1.  Peanut butter blossoms are one of my favorite holiday cookies, second only to a secret family recipe for butter cookies.

I tried to stick the kisses inside the whisk but the tines on the whisk were too far apart so I just stuck them in the bottom of the oven mitt with everything else!  Done-zo!  And with the recipe for the cookie already on the back of the mix bag all you have to do is print out these super cute free printables and you’re good to go!

I’m making one of these for all my teacher friends and knowing that I’m giving them a fun and functional gift they can use over and over makes me smile!

Do you have any go to gifts for family, friends, and coworkers during the holiday season?
